We had to find another school last minute so that he would not miss his 1st day of kindergarten. I am the one helping raise my grandson and the school never had a problem with me before and when I wrote them a check each month last year. I even talked to the school principal and her 1st words to me were 'I don't have to talk to you, you are not his parent' I found that to be very rude! It represents strength! If you have a male child that has long hair or it's his culture to have the long hair this school is NOT for you!!!! They made NO exception for my grandson due to his culture and tradition. Both our cultures have males with long hair. My grandson is native American and he is also polynesian. NEVER were we told that his hair would have to be cut off into what they consider a 'boy haircut' last minute to his starting school.

My daughter enrolled him in kindergarten for 2019/2020 in May.

My grandson has long hair always kept groomed in a braid or pony tail. My grandson went to this school in pre k 2018/2019.
